If you are not a European national but you live in a European country, you do not need to go back to your home country or follow the Études en France procedure, even if your home country uses it.
- First year of a bachelor's degree at a university: submit a preliminary admission request (DAP) to the cultural service of the French embassy in the country where you live. You can choose up to 3 universities. For the September 2027 intake: applications from 1 October to 15 December 2026, answers by 30 April 2027, and you confirm your choice by 31 May 2027.
- First year of a master's degree: if you live in an EEA country, apply on Mon Master.
- Other programmes and years: contact the institutions directly, using Campus France's programme search.
