How does the Études en France procedure work?
The Études en France platform lets you manage your application to French institutions and prepare your visa. If you live in one of the countries or territories concerned, you must use it. Here are the steps ❤️
Step 1: Create your account
Create your personal space on the platform (new address and interface since 1 October 2026) and choose the Campus France office for your country. You'll need an identity document and a valid e-mail address. You then receive a file number; quote it every time you contact Campus France.
Step 2: Complete and submit your application
This is the first selection stage, so take care over it. Fill in the online form and upload the required documents before the deadline, usually including a photo, your ID, your transcripts and diplomas, and a CV.
- First year of a bachelor's degree (DAP): up to 3 choices; deadline 15 December 2026 for the 2027 intake.
- Other programmes: deadlines vary by country; check with your Campus France office.
Step 3: Pay the Campus France fee
The amount and payment method depend on your country; your Campus France office tells you how to pay.
Step 4: The interview
Once your file is checked, you book an interview with a Campus France adviser, who discusses your study plan, your motivation and your choices. Bring your invitation and ID.
To prepare, see the questions that may be asked. Need personalised help? Send us a request through our support form. This guidance is separate from the paid visa application service Livinfrance used to offer.
Step 5: The institutions' answers
Institutions answer on the platform (by 30 April 2027 for the DAP). Accept the offer you choose before the deadline (31 May 2027 for the DAP). Campus France then finalises your file so you can apply for your visa.
