You wish to apply for the first year of a degree program

You must submit a preliminary admission request (DAP) to the cooperation and cultural action department of the French Embassy of the country you live in. You may apply to up to 3 universities, and applications must be submitted between November and January preceding the year you want to study in France. Let’s say I want to study in France in September 2022, I have to apply between november 2021 and september 2022.

You will receive an answer from the universities at the end of April at the latest, and you must give your answer at the beginning of May.

You wish to apply during your bachelor, master or doctorate studies

You must contact the institution(s) that interest you directly to apply. To help you in your search, Campus France created a booklet where you can find the contact information for institutions in France.

"Even though the "Study in France" procedure applies in their home country, non-European students residing in Europe need neither return to their country nor follow this procedure." Campus France.org
