CROUS housing is university housing (rooms or apartments) that are rented at lower-than-market prices to help students find housing 🏠
We explain the process step by step to maximize your chances of getting housing! ✨
1. Opening of the complementary phase
International students can apply for CROUS housing only during the complementary phase. This year, this phase opens on July 11 🗓️
2. Creating your profile
In order to apply for crous housing, you must register on the messervices.etudiant.gouv.fr website
3. Application for housing
On July 11, 2024, you will have to go to the trouverunlogement.lescrous.fr website in order to submit your housing application.
We advise you to log in as soon as possible in order to maximize your chances of obtaining the desired accommodation!
Each room has its own detailed description. You will find information about the size of the room, the rent, the reservation fee, the address, the transportation, the nearby schools, the equipment provided, as well as a description of the accommodation and the residence (bike shed, wifi, laundry room).
4. Follow-up of the application
If your application is validated, you will have 48 hours to confirm your assignment by paying an advance on your rent via messervices.etudiant.gouv.fr > "Manage your housing" > "Cité'U" section
If your application is rejected, you should return to the site regularly to see the available housing
