How do I validate my VLS-TS student visa?

You must validate your VLS-TS within 3 months of arriving in France. It takes about 10 minutes online.

This applies to VLS-TS holders. If you are Algerian, see the note in Do I need to validate my visa?

1. Go to the ANEF platform.
2. Enter the details from your visa (visa number, dates) and your personal information.
3. Enter your date of arrival in France and your address in France.
4. Pay the €100 tax, either:
• by card directly on the site, or
• by entering the number of an electronic tax stamp bought beforehand (online or at a tobacconist). See How do I pay for the stamp online?

1. Download your validation certificate and keep it with your passport. You will receive emails about your file.
