I'm leaving from France, how do I stop CAF?

If you're about to leave France, and you're still getting money from CAF, it's time to stop it! Yep, all good things must come to an end 😊

Don't worry, the procedure to stop it is much simpler, and it will only take you a few minutes. We'll explain it all to you!

Procedure

1. Log on to the CAF website

2. Go to the section "Mes démarches" and click on "Declare a change".

3. Check the box "Address" and then "Next".

4. Change your address with the address of your country of origin

5. Fill in the additional information

6. Validate everything, and you're done!

Be careful, if you forget to stop it, and you continue to receive housing assistance (CAF), then they can ask you to reimburse the amounts paid!
