✅ How do I complete my visa application using the Livinfrance housing certificate?

You have purchased a Livinfrance accommodation certificate.

Good news: it allows you to apply for your student visa without making a final housing reservation and therefore without spending several hundred euros before your visa has been approved.

To fill in your visa application form correctly on France visas, you'll find a detailed explanation on page 3 of your housing certificate.

1️⃣ Choose the correct section in your application

Livinfrance is a company (a professional accommodation provider).
It is therefore very important to select the correct section in your application.

🏠 Section related to your accommodation

You must select:

👉 “Your hotel or accommodation (if different)”

This is the section that corresponds to your certificate.

You must enter the following phone number: +33 7 49 16 73 95

⚠️ Be careful not to make a mistake

Do not confuse this with the section “A person is hosting me”, which applies only if an individual (not a company) is hosting you, whether free of charge or not.

🏫 Section related to your institution

In the section: “An establishment is hosting me”

You must enter the details of your educational institution in France (university, school, etc.).

2️⃣What supporting documents do I need to add?

When you purchase an accommodation certificate:
👉 The certificate alone is sufficient.

You do not need to add any other mandatory housing document.

💡 Our advice:

We recommend that you also include a short explanatory letter.

In this letter, you can explain:

• Why you have not made a final housing reservation

• That you prefer to wait until your visa is approved

• That you are using the Livinfrance certificate to avoid significant expenses before validation

This helps reassure the authorities and shows that your approach is well thought out.
