I have rented a property in France but my VISA got rejected, what should I do?

A lease contract is essential for your VISA acceptance, that's reality. But you have to understand your engagement as a tenant.

From the moment you sign a lease contract, you are financially engaged to pay the rent.

If your VISA is rejected, you must know that in any case, you will have to pay a minimum of one month's rent, here is why:

The only way you can break it is to send a letter of resignation a minimum of one month before the end of your departure (even if you have never checked in).

At Livinfrance, we offer you an official accommodation certificate that you can use for your visa application if you do not yet have a housing solution. This allows you to obtain your visa before securing your official rental contract.
