Livinfrance : Booking procedure

At Livinfrance, we offer you a simple, fast and secure way to book your accommodation in France! Less than 10 minutes to find and book your perfect accommodation 🏠

Here are the steps: 

1. Select the room of your choice ✨

On Livinfrance platform, select the city of your choice and browse through the listings.

To help you in your search, we have set up some filters: price, surface area, bathroom type, number of roommates in the house etc...


As soon as you like an offer, you just have to click on it to see its sheet with all the necessary information

2. Check all the information on the page 🛀

It is important that you take the time to read the page of an ad, especially the description. The landlord can include important information.

Information on charges will also be present. Check which charges will be included and which will not be included in the cost of your rent.

Don't forget to check the "payment specifics" section which explains what the next costs you will have to pay if your reservation is accepted.

Finally, we strongly advise you to look at the "Frequently Asked Questions" section!

3. Reserve your future room 🚀

📅 As soon as you are ready, indicate your dates and click on "Verify disponibility".

Understand the different payments:

1. To reserve your accommodation, you must pay the Booking Fee

2. Once the accommodation is accepted, you will have to pay the 1st month's rent, the deposit and sometimes fees collected by the owner as well.

This page will explain to you each of the most important steps that will start today.

💁 Fill in your personal information and add two documents: An ID and your school's acceptance letter.

💳 Online payment. When you are ready to confirm your booking request, you must pay the Livinfrance booking fee.

4. Check of your booking request ❤️

After receiving your reservation, our team checks that it meets the eligibility criteria and send it to the owner for approval with a response within 2 working days 🗓️

5. Your request has been accepted 🎉

When your reservation is validated by the owner, you will receive an email notification.

From then on, the owner will contact you to continue the process.

Your Livinfrance personal space will be useful for you to understand everything there is to do for your rental in France. Here are some tips to make your booking go smoothly:

  • Signature of your rental contract 
    There may be a deadline after which the contract is cancelled so don't waste time signing your contract!
  • Proceed to the payment of your first rent, the security deposit and fees if there are some.
    You will have your landlord's bank details to make this payment. Don't forget that without payment, you can't enter your home 😉
  • Organize your check-in
    We recommend that you schedule your inventory at least 2 weeks in advance. You will find the owner's availability hours on the accommodation sheet
  • Don't forget to take out your mandatory housing insurance ☂️ 
    Please note that some landlords may include this insurance, so check with your landlord first!
