Tuition fees
At public universities, students from outside the EU, the EEA and Switzerland usually pay higher tuition fees than European students (in 2025–26: €2,895 a year for a bachelor's and €3,941 for a master's). Since 2026–27, universities can exempt only a limited number of non-EU students from these fees. Check your university's fees before you commit.
The visa
Once you've been accepted by your school, the next step is your visa. Our visa articles walk you through every step. European students don't need a visa 😉
Accommodation
Proof of accommodation is a key part of your visa application, so don't neglect it. Choosing the right place will also make your experience in France better. To understand how renting works in France, read our dedicated article.

Our rooms are eligible for CAF housing aid, but whether you can receive it depends on your own situation. Since 1 July 2026, most non-EU students are no longer eligible, except in specific cases (for example if you receive a means-tested grant, work, or have an apprenticeship contract). Check the conditions. If you are eligible, our team can help you with your application. We can't guarantee that the CAF will grant you aid.

Health and travel insurance
